Planning Permission for mixed use proposal.

Dover District Council have granted planning permission for 80 new dwellings and the conversion of important historic buildings to create new offices at the former Eastry Hospital site.
The proposal by Runnymede Homes and prepared by award winning architects ctm of Hythe retains and improves key buildings including a former workhouse and a chapel which are an important feature of Eastry Conservation Area. The new housing is of a contemporary design featuring materials found in the local vernacular.
The local economy is expected to benefit from new employment opportunities and the parish will have use of the restored chapel for community purposes.
